Alexander Ita a.k.a. Lexisugar is a driven, passionate and charismatic Music Maker, songwriter and Entrepreneur based out of Maryland, USA. Originally from Nigeria, this talented performer set out to develop a truly unique approach to his blend of songwriting, inspired by genres as diverse as electronica, reggae, pop, soul and rap, just to mention a few.
It is really all about connecting with listeners through high-energy release, uplifting melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics, regardless of genres definitions and other barriers! He released his debut EP "The Journey" in 2017, a jazz inspired, smooth groove anchored by his signature bass guitar, a full voice laced with lyrics in Yoruba, featuring great acts that compliment his style. The Journey is a melodious walk through love with detours the likes of triumph, trepidation, trust and tremble.
Now finding a way in the business and fashion industry, Lexisugar is the kind of artist who prefers to let his work speak for itself, so go on and let his songs and products tell you the rest of this story!
