I’m Alexander Ita, a Baltimore-based music producer, mixing and mastering engineer, musician and educator. I help independent artists turn strong ideas, demos and rough recordings into focused, release-ready records.

Who I work with

I work especially well with Gospel, worship, inspirational, Christian R&B, soul and contemporary artists, while remaining open to any serious project with a strong musical direction. My background as a pianist, bassist, producer and arranger helps me listen beyond the technical details and support the song itself.

Baltimore and Maryland artists can begin with a consultation. Remote artists can work with me through an organized file-sharing and feedback process. Any in-person recording needs are confirmed during the project call so expectations, location and logistics are clear before work begins.

How the process works

  1. Share the song and goal. Send your demo, references, deadline and intended release plan.
  2. Get a clear recommendation. I’ll tell you which service fits, what files are needed and what the project will cost.
  3. Build and refine. We work through production or mixing with defined feedback points.
  4. Receive release-ready files. Final deliverables are prepared for your chosen release path.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only work with Baltimore artists?

No. I am based in Baltimore and work remotely with artists in other cities and countries. The project call helps us choose the right workflow.

Can you improve a home-recorded vocal?

Often, yes. The quality of the room, microphone technique and recording level all matter. Send a short sample before purchasing so I can assess it honestly.

Should I book mixing or full production?

If the arrangement and recorded parts are complete, mixing may be enough. If the song still needs instrumentation, arrangement or creative development, full production is usually the better fit.

How much does a project cost?

Every project is quoted individually after a project call. Your quote depends on the song’s condition, scope, deadline and deliverables.

How do I get started?

Book a free 30-minute project call or use the service application. Please bring a demo or voice note, two or three reference tracks, your target date and a realistic budget range.
